Victor Villegas received a MFA in Film/TV Production at UCLA, worked 14 years in television animation (as production manager / voice director / talent coordinator), and is currently working in live action television production finance.
Despite a busy television career, Mr. Villegas has pursued his interest in photography. In recent years, he's had exhibitions of his tennis photo collection at tennis clubs and organizations throughout Southern California. He continues work on his series of Southern California Drive-In Theatres, and has an extensive photo collection of Los Angeles billboards from 1989 - 2001. He also enjoys shooting Las Vegas wedding chapels, Culvery City (his neighboring town), downtown Los Angeles, and nature.
In regards to contract work, he has provided photography services for events, actors, television scouts, children's photos and weddings.
Mr. Villegas speaks Spanish, and serves on UCLA Alumni's Ralph Bunche Scholarship committee. He is a past recipient of the Chrysalis Diamond Anniversary Award for 10 years of service to Chrysalis, a self-help agency for the unemployed poor and homeless. He's also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
In addition to photography, other fields of interest (and enjoyment) include tennis, volleyball, film and travel.
